Omaha Holdem Poker Basics |
Omaha holdem poker is the second version of the poker games, which are
common in the gambling world after the Texas Hold'em version. Omaha
holdem poker is also called "Omaha
poker",
"Omaha
Hi/Lo poker", "Omaha Eight or better" etc. Though Omaha holdem poker is
more complicated than Texas Hold'em poker. Moreover, Omaha holdem
poker has stricter rules. Omaha
poker rules
are not similar with the Texas Hold'em poker as it may be seemed for
the first sight. Omaha holdem poker is a community card poker, where
there are five community cards and four personal cards has each player.
And the number of personal cards is not the only difference between
Omaha holdem poker and Texas Hold'em poker. The main thing concerning
Omaha holdem poker is that you have to use exact two of four your
personal cards and exact three of five community cards. For example, if
the community cards have four cards of one suite and you have also one
card of this suite, you cannot use this card (as if you did that in
Texas Hold'em poker). As well as if you want to collect a full house,
there should be two of the cards on the table and you must have two of
them in your hands.
Also in Omaha holdem poker with three of a kind on the board a player
must have a pair two collect a full house. And if there is
three of a
kind a one additional card, which pair you have, you cannot collect a
full house, because this are the rules of the Omaha holdem poker.
Though the strategy of bluffing is not so widely used in Omaha holdem
poker in comparison with other versions of poker, because here the
rules are tough and you have an opportunity to read your opponents more
carefully.Every Omaha
poker
strategy
is based on the reading your opponents and a betting system. Omaha
holdem poker is played faster, than other version of poker, so you can
whether earn money faster or lose them faster.
